Reconciliation is a sacrament that can be received as often as one wants, and it strengthens us with grace each time it is received. In the Sacrament of Reconciliation, the Christian faithful obtain from the mercy of God pardon for their sins. At the same time, they are reconciled with the Church, which they have wounded by their sins and which works for their conversion by charity, example, and prayer (Lumen Gentium, n. 11).<\/p>\n
ELIGIBILITY TO RECEIVE THE SACRAMENT OF FIRST RECONCILIATION<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The program is conducted<\/strong> in the 1st term of school<\/strong>.<\/p>\n We will conduct an information night (Parent meeting) prior to confirm enrolment in our Sacramental Programs. This meeting aims to provide you with deeper understanding and experience of this Sacrament.<\/p>\n As preparation<\/strong> for the Sacrament, your regular attendance at Mass is expected. <\/strong><\/span>There will be four\/five weekly lessons<\/strong> for preparing the children not<\/strong> at St Aidan\u2019s. <\/strong><\/p>\n All dates and times will be confirmed at the commencement of each program.<\/p>\n Any enquiries, please email holyfamilymaroubra@outlook.com<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n The coordinator will make contact via email regarding further details of the program at the beginning of the school year.<\/p>\n NOTE:<\/strong><\/p>\n If your child was baptised at Holy Family, you do not need to submit a copy of the baptism certificate. at 9.30am Mass<\/strong><\/td>Commitment Mass<\/strong>
